Lonely Zoey

Zoey is a lonely little, beige and white tabby that somebody abandoned near the pool in my community. I've been providing her with food and water, and visiting her twice a day.  I brought her to the vet to be tested, and she was recently diagnosed with feline leukemia.

I was told by a vet that she doesn't necessarily need to be put down and she can live quite a few good years, or even longer, as long as she is kept comfortable and safe.

I would love to adopt her, but I already have three healthy cats, and since this disease is highly contagious among cats, it's not the right decision for me, and would put my cats at risk. It would be too hard to keep the cats separated and constantly supervised so that they don't scratch or bite one another.

Luckily, a lady that lives near by has expressed an interest in adopting her and has no other cats at the moment. Hopefully, it all works out for Zoey since she is such a sweet and loving kitty.
